We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting/Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting and executive functions of our organization. You will be expected to perform a wide range of administrative and financial duties to ensure the smooth operation of the office and assist our executive team in achieving their goals. This position has the opportunity for future advancement for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the executive team, including managing schedules, making travel arrangements, and organizing meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage bank transactions.
  • Handle general accounting duties such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closings.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating hours and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency in administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or executive assistant role.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software and virtual communication platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
