Are you a Staff Accountant with 3-5 years experience looking for your next opportunity in an award winning organization? Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will take responsibility of the General Ledger, Month-End, and Quarter-End. This opportunity is located downtown Toronto and is easily accessible from King Station or the King or Queen Streetcars. The Staff Accountant will enjoy a flexible work arrangement 2 days from home and 3 days in the office downtown Toronto.
The successful candidate will have advanced MS Excel skills using pivot tables and vlookups. Previous experience using a dashboard application like PowerBI would be an asset.
The Staff Accountant must have professional business English verbal and written communication skills. As well, the Staff Accountant must be comfortable presenting at the weekly departmental accounting meeting and the monthly finance presentation to Sr Managers. This organization is on a journey to improve efficiencies and automate, the Staff Accountant will be part of project teams focussed on the automation journey.
